Panorama Mountain Resort is one of the Canadian Rockies' up-and-coming
premier vacation destinations.
Panorama
Mountain Village is two hours south of Banff on the west side of
the Continental Divide, which separates Alberta from British Columbia.
Just think about the massive snowfall from clouds trying to rise
over the Divide. Yum. British Columbians figure they get the best
of the winter deal.
Panorama
is now one of the Canadian Rockies premier winter vacation
destinations. With the addition of ski terrain, high-speed lifts,
restaurants, giant slopeside hot pools, accommodations and a village
gondola, life is looking pretty good on the western slope of the
Rockies.
The
resort has almost 3,000 patrolled acres, including bowls, backcountry
terrain in Taynton Bowl, the gladed Extreme Dream Zone, terrain
parks and an FIS-regulation halfpipe. Panorama is known for its
high percentage of intermediate, advanced and expert runs and, since
everything is below treeline, it has an abundance of glade skiing.
