workshops: Ski and snowboard workshops for ages 13+ meet at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily. A 1-hour workshop costs $30; a
1-hour workshop with an all-mountain lift ticket, $78; and a 1-hour
lesson, lift ticket and rental package, $109.
First-timer package: Mount Sunapees Get Into Skiing/ Snowboarding program includes everything a beginner needs to get started on the slopes. The program includes an introductory ski or snowboard lesson, complete with short, shaped learning skis or Burton's special learn-to-ride snowboard, and unlimited use of Mount Sunapees South Peak Area for the entire day. The program is designed in stages to allow for success. The three-day package with lesson, lifts and rentals costs $142.
Private lessons: One-hour lessons cost $79 for one person and $125
for two students; two-hour lessons cost $125 for one person and
$205 for two students; three-hour lessons cost $175 for one person

Special programs:
Sunapee offers a good One-Day Women's
Workshop, where women teach techniques and discuss the
route to improvement. Cost is $185 and includes lift ticket, 4 hours of instruction, and lunch. The program includes skiing and snowboarding and welcomes
all levels.
Families First is Mount Sunapee's award-winning program that allows families to learn to ski or snowboard together in the same class. The program includes a two-hour introductory less, rental equipment and unlimited use of the South Peak Learning Area. The minimum age is 8 years old, and it's priced the same as the "Get Into Skiing/Snowboarding" program.
The New
England Handicapped Sports Association (NEHSA) offers adaptive ski/snowboard lessons at Mount Sunapee to people of all ages and all disabilities. Skiers participate in either a stand-up or sit-down program; some people try both. There is a $25 annual NEHSA Membership fee for individuals and $35 for families. Daily lessons are $25 for a two-hour morning and afternoon individualized lesson, which includes adaptive equipment, instructors, and volunteers. NEHSA provides skis, boots, bindings, poles, and a full range of adaptive devices such as outriggers, ski bras, mono-skis, and bi-skis.
